Community leaders and other dignitaries were on hand Tuesday afternoon at the Hilo Naniloa Hotel to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the hotel’s $20 million renovation project. The 388-room hotel currently is managed by Aqua-Aston Hospitality but will be re-launched in March 2016 as DoubleTree by Hilton Hilo-Naniloa.
